Description / Biog
I am 35 years old and I live and work in Näsåker, which is a small village of rural Sweden. I moved there from Stockholm when I was 17 and started with ecological farming and sheep. My felt making career started 15 years ago out of a necessity to make something of the wool my ewes produced every year. I have a small herd of 30 ewes, mixed colour and breed, for wool and sheepskins. I love to work with wool! The products I create are felt hats, slippers, baby shoes and felted wall hangings. I sell to leading shops in Stockholm, Sundsvall and Sollefteå, but also some from my home. Sometimes I attend fairs to meet my customers and get some response from them. They like what I do so much and come back year after year with orders.
