Description / Biog
I was born in 1952 and I live with my husband and teenage children in the countryside, about 30km from Sundsvall. At art college I studied sculpture and ceramics for five years. When my children were born I stopped working but now as they are now older, I have relaunched my business 'Artis Keramik'. I create unique pottery and ceramic sculptures and prefer not to work in serial production. Often I combine my pottery with sculpture as in my ram bowls, where two bowls will not look exactly the same. I am a keen gardener and ceramic garden decorations have become something that I enjoy to create, and this is a part of my work I want to develop further.
