Description / Biog
Yart textil design works with interior design textiles, preferably linen, for private homes and public buildings. My textiles and decorations are based on plain and timeless patterns that can be used in various techniques. Commissioned work is always inspiring to me, be it large or little. I use my basic patterns with possibilities to change to customer's desire and needs. Textile prints, utility goods, clothes, embroidery, handmade ropes and lace are examples of what I produce. Apart from solo exhibitions I have taken part in some co-operative exhibitions where we have worked thematically or explored our rich cultural heritage. Many of my patterns originate from this work.
