Description / Biog
For many years I have been designing and hand-crafting stained glass. I was first introduced to stained glass when I took part in a craft course in 1997. From there, I learned more about stained glass through a local craftsman in Co. Sligo. In 2001, I studied in Sienna, Italy, where I worked on a local Basilica and helped complete the first four windows for a cathedral in New York city. I was very much inspired by Italy and its amazing countryside but also by the artists and stained glass artists of our time! Recently, I completed Art Nouveau style consortina doors for a client in Dublin and I am presently working on windows for an oratory in local convent and on window panels for many households in the locality and throughout the country. My studio is the Benbulben Centre, which is a few miles north of Sligo town.
