Description / Biog
Leitrim Genealogy Centre is a member of the Irish Family History Foundation. Our centre provides a professional genealogical research service. We will provide you with a comprehensive family history report after searching all relevant birth/baptismal, marriage and death records for our area and, where appropriate, census returns, land records, graveyard records, etc. We were set up to deal with enquiries from people who want to trace their Leitrim ancestors. All available resources are in one place and we have compiled a substantial database of information and expertise. The inspiration for the centre arose from people visiting from abroad faced the difficulty of finding the relevant information they were looking for as the source material was scattered throughout the county and elsewhere.
