Description / Biog
My business 'LL Photography' aims to capture images of beauty, life and happiness. I have always been a lover of Art at school, drawing and photography. As an honours degree graduate of Business with French from Blanchardstown IT in 2004, I had accumulated many photographs and decided to involve myself more in photography as I was looking for a full-time job. I completed a short course in Black & White darkroom photography and just recently a course in Digital Photography. Last year, I created a collection of Postcards for my local area and have them selling in the local gift shop along with a number of landscape pictures of Leitrim, Dublin and Scotland. This year I entered 3 of my photos into the Leitrim Arts Exhibition, which was a very exciting and worthwhile exercise, and which I hope will be the first of many. Currently I am working on a cross border eco tourism project in Leitrim and Fermanagh. My inspiration comes from photographers such as Pip Sides, and from the beauty of everyday life through a lens. As for a new project, I am hoping to get my pictures on to stretched canvas and hope to do some wood turning in the Leitrim Sculpture Centre in 2006.
