Description / Biog
I am a portrait, wedding & event photograher and I have a wide collection of limited edition fine art photographer prints. I am an internationally travelled photograher. Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember and I believe an image should capture the essence of a person, so you see more than what is represented on the page. I gained a BA Honours degree and worked as a teacher both in Ireland and overseas. In my work as a photographer, these skills have been especially helpful when working with children, managing to catch those fleeting moments of childhood in all their mystery and mischievousness. I am sensitive to the mood and interests of the child and understand how imperative it is to work quickly! I enjoy looking at new ways to display your images so they contribute to the overall look of your household décor and enhance the wall on which they will hang for many years. Realising that you are more likely to be yourself when you have forgotten about the presence of the camera, I welcome the opportunity to photograph you with your pets or doing an activity you particularly enjoy. The studio experience is also one where you are encouraged to bring your own ideas and interact freely with your family and friends to capture the unique bond between you. I work in a freelance capacity for the Impartial Reporter and The Fermanagh Herald. My work has also been published in a number of magazines, including The Ulster Tatler, Irish Country Sports and Country Life. My fine art photography has been exhibited in a number of galleries. The measure of a photograph is how it connects with you personally, and I count it a privilege to provide you with an image which you will treasure for many years to come. My inspiration for photography comes from the fact that subjects to photograph never end. There is always an interesting face, a quirky moment and a beautiful landscape. Currently, I am working on portraits and mountain scenes.
