Description / Biog
Our range includes watercolours, landscapes, seascapes and minatures. I was born in Sligo and my passion for watercolours have found expression in the soft simple paintings of this beautiful county. I spent a number of years living in Connemara where my work in the arts concentrated on Celtic decoration and graphic design before I returned to Sligo. My paintings are my own interpretation of the spectacular Sligo countryside and seaside. All my paintaings are originals, from the miniature range to full size paintings. I have exhibited in many group exhibitions and I had my first solo exhibition in 2004, in conjunction with Sligo Art Gallery. My work has been featured in books, calendars, CD covers, wall hangings, coasters and placements. A recently published book Sligo Land of Destiny, by historian Joe McGowan captures the county in a series of watercolours by Anne.
