Description / Biog
I design and manufacture jewellery from my workshop in County Leitrim. I have produced a variety of different collections over the years. My most recent work of one-off pieces seeks to create a mood or capture a moment in time. They reflect the rugged aspect of the surrounding landscape or highlight certain characteristics of the native flora. I am inspired by the beautiful natural environment that surrounds me. Designs change with the seasons, capturing passing moments in time. I am currently working on producing individual collections of jewellery for individual retailers and small runs of designs that will remain unique to each individual outlet. Also, having recently returned to painting, I am developing a collection of artwork that combine the two disciplines, e.g. painted landscapes on canvas with forms of trees/flowers etc. made in silver and mounted on the canvas to produce unique representations of our "precious" landscapes.
