Description / Biog
'My ''Wove in hove'' business is a hand/power weave company, that produces hand woven accessories for apparal and interiors. The designs are woven using mainly natural fibres and I use natural dyes to create one-off pieces.
I trained in textiles at Brighton college of Art in England and I have been hand weaving for about 38 years. In my Fermanagh based studio, I use multi-shaft floor looms to hand weave scarves, wraps, throws and special commissions. I often work with other designers to prduce unique cloth from fleece, linen and wire. My inspiration is colours and textures of Ireland''s countryside throughout all the seasons.
Currently, I am working on a collection of scarves in linen/cotton for an ''Open House'' at Brighton Festival.
