About 4 years ago, I made jewellery while I was attending college. Initially I only made jewellery for myself and friends. But over the years I have started selling in a few local craft shops and at craft fairs. This has been successful and I now have a stand at the Origin farmers market every saturday morning in Sligo. I make unique handmade jewellery, created using semi-precious gemstone beads, crystals, glass beads, pearls and silver. The range includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings and hair accessories. I get inspiration from looking at whats new in fashion magazines, Internet, etc. While I do not follow any particular trend, I do keep colours in mind which may be popular for the season and keep looking at different types and colours of beads is something I also find inspiring.
