Description / Biog

I am based in the valley of Ådalen, Sweden and have lived here all my life, which greatly influenced my work and craft. As a weaver I make textiles for both private homes and public buildings, both as decorations and for everyday use. I am influenced by textiles and patterns that are traditional and very typical to the area, "Ångermanlandsdrällar". I create my own designs based on these, still using old techniques for weaving such as damask. The beautiful surroundings of the Ångerman River are one of my sources of inspiration and my materials are mostly the natural fibres linen and wool.
