Advantedge is located in the village of Belleek, Co. Fermanagh and services both a local and international client base. One of the most recent projects comprised the development of an e-learning CD Rom application. The company has been involved with the Creative Media Enterprise Support Programme (http://www.creativemediaenterprise.com/) and is a current cluster member of the Midas initiative (http://www.midasinitiative.com/).
The inspiration for the primary focus (e-learning) came about through the completion of an MSc project in Computing and Design. This project focused on the design of an e-learning application to aid children within the Autistic Spectrum. From this much further research has been carried out in similar areas.
The range of services includes; E-learning Products, Web Design, Corporate Identity (logos, business cards, letterheads etc), animation, Architectural Realistation (virtual walkthroughs) as well as general conceptual design work. Advantedge develops cutting edge solutions combining a user centered design approach with the latest digital techniques and technologies. Currently the company is developing an e-learning application for children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders as well as engaging in an eco-tourism project to aid the development of rural areas within the North West.
